Hanoi Youth Football League

Hanoi Youth Football League (HYFL)

 9th annual International Tournament in Hanoi, Vietnam.
 
The HYFL has been organizing this tournament for the last 8 years with great success.
 
At edition 2017, we hosted 71 teams, and  in the 2018  HYFL International Tournament expect to host more teams from Vietnam and from regions such as, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, China, Cambodia, and more for a weekend of high quality, competitive football and friendship.

HYFL want to contribute to develop the football in Asia and aim to increase the youth’s knowledge and understanding for other cultures and religions. Come and join us to feel the magic on and off the pitch, where children from very different backgrounds play together, and  the tournament will be a prime example of how football brings people together. 
 
Key information for the 2018 tournament:


Age groups

U9 boys born on or after 1st January 2009
U11 boys born on or after 1st January 2007
U13 boys born on or after 1st January 2005
U15 boys born on or after 1st January 2003
 * Girls are eligible to be up to one year older

Date and time

        + Saturday, March 10th, 2018: matches start at 8.30am and the last one finishes around 5:00pm.
        + Sunday, March 11th, 2018: matches also start at 8.30am and finish around 1 pm, when the trophies will be presented.
 
Venue
ACB Football training center  - Tan My street, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi, Vietnam (See map and instruction attached).

Tournament format and length of matches will depend on the final number of teams registered in each age group. Details will be posted on our website  and circulated to confirmed clubs after the registration deadline (In the past, matches’ duration was from 20-35 minutes, no break, and each team played from 120 - 140 minutes on Saturday and 60 - 80 minutes on Sunday).

More than 1000 youth players are expected to compete over the weekend.
